Telemarketing is the method of selling or promoting of products and services by phone. It includes receiving orders, inquiries, donations in response to print and broadcast advertising, catalogs, and direct-mail promotions, and also receiving customer inquiries and complaints and finding solutions to it. It can be done at home, in an office or in a call center. It works in two ways, discovering the needs of the clients and to convince them to buy the products and services being offered.

Business to Consumer Telemarketing - this type notifies existing customers to buy goods and services, and present special offers through outbound calls.

 

Automated Telemarketing - used to process large volumes of incoming calls. Outbound telemarketing, on the other hand offers quickly at low cost, generating inbound telemarketing leads and sales. In both cases, special equipment contacts customers or receives calls from clients without any live staff needed.
